C3 award The Boulevard Academy with their Eco Excellence in Schools Award

The Boulevard Academy Eco Committee & Miss Burton have been visited by Lucy and Jessica from the C3 Group. The students explained the Eco work that the school has done this year. This included the school winning the Oh Yes, Net Zero competition, resulting in them having an all-expenses-paid visit to London, during which they met MP Emma Hardy in the Houses of Parliament. The committee had also successfully bid for a grant of £1300 to help set up and develop a school garden. This is a project they are keen to build on next year.

Students told Lucy and Jessica about other activites they have been involved with including joint litter picking work with Chiltern Primary school and exciting links with a school in Japan, to share Eco ideas.
