The Boulevard Academy Rewards System

We recognise and reward the students who make the correct choices with their attitude to learning, behaviour and attendance. We reward those who go ‘above and beyond’ every day and have a tiered system that ensures that every student has the opportunity to be rewarded for their contribution and achievements.

Ask your tutor how many spendable merits you have (this will be available on the portal).

Decide what you’d like; maybe you want to save for a bigger reward, or spend it all now!

Want something? Order HERE.

Submit your request on the Form, and wait for your reward items to be delivered in Tutor!

Daily

Students receive merits both in and outside of the classroom to recognise their achievements. These can be spent via the Google link on this page, and are also used to consider a student’s eligibility for Rewards Trips. Rewards will be delivered weekly to pupils during an assigned Tutor time slot. Students are also recognised during their social times with a corridor conduct award - these can be ‘cashed in’ daily at the rewards shop.

Weekly

‘Star students’ are identified weekly by their Tutors and issued with a certificate as well as 50 merits. These students also receive a social media ‘Shout-Out’. Tutor groups will also be celebrated for the highest number of overall merits on a weekly basis.

Each Half-term

Subject teachers will identify top-performing and most-improved students in their subjects. These students will receive an Honours badge.

Each Term

Each term we give all students the opportunity to earn their place on our rewards experiences; students can look forward to a variety of trips or be invited to attend a special awards event. All pupils will have an allocated space, but it is up to them to keep it by maintaining our high expectations of behaviour, punctuality and attendance.

Yearly

Each year, we host an exclusive Awards Evening. Award-winning students are selected by staff, and reflect the top-performing students across all areas of the school. This includes academic subjects, attendance, enrichment, and community achievement.
