From September 1st 2025, The Boulevard Academy gates will close at 8.35am and will open again at 3.15pm - this is the duration of our school day.
The gates will then close at 4pm.
This means there is no access through the school site between these times. This may need you to change your usual route as you will not be permitted to walk through the school site.
The safeguarding of our students is vital and we are taking this step to keep the site safe.
If you are attending an appointment here, please press the button on the Airlie Street gate to talk to Reception staff.
We apologise for any inconvenience and hope this gives you time to make alternative plans.
History

The Boulevard Academy is one of the newest schools in Hull, having welcomed its first pupils in September 2013.

The school famously occupies the site of Hull FC’s former Boulevard ground and enjoys strong ties with the Super League Club.

The creation of this state-of-the-art Academy in the heart of west Hull was an exciting and fast-paced journey.

The Academy was built in just 37 weeks after being given the final go-ahead in November 2012.

Many families committed themselves to the Academy long before it was given the formal go – ahead, demonstrating their desire for the provision of a high-quality education in this locality for their children.

The Proposers of The Boulevard Academy were able to recruit staff of exceptional quality who share a strong commitment to the principles and ideals of an achievement based and aspirational culture.
From the outset the goal has been to create an inclusive school which reflects the increasingly high expectation and aspiration of the local community.

In the future, it will be the pupils’ who will write the history of The Boulevard Academy.
