Thank you for your support

Dear Parent / Carer

The Boulevard Academy would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our parents, carers and students during these exceptional circumstances. We are very grateful and thankful for your support with online learning and work packs.

Teaching staff are uploading new resources to Show My Homework and SAM Learning every week. If you are experiencing any issues with any of the online platforms please email info@theboulevardacademy.com and someone will be in touch to assist you.

On our Facebook page we will be sharing live work out videos from the Body Coach at 9am for students to join in with at home. We will also be sharing a work out video every day that we would like to see students joining in with. Send us your work out selfies and show your Team Boulevard spirit! You can reach us on Facebook and Twitter – @tbahull.

The Boulevard community may be physically apart right now but we are still in this together. Resources can be found on the Wellbeing page of our website for parents and students needing support and guidance with mental health and wellbeing during these uncertain times. We will continue to share links on our social media for videos, blogs and webpages that students can access for support with their mental health. Our fantastic pastoral team will still be available for a chat – you can reach them on wellbeing@theboulevardacademy.com.

We are in the process of putting together a support guide for parents. We will reach out via My Ed and text messages when this available. If you have not already downloaded the My Ed app please do so as this will be the quickest and easiest form of communication with the school.

The school will be in touch by phone weekly wherever possible in addition to communication via Show My Homework. Please ensure that we have your most up to date contact details.

Please be aware that the school will be providing grab bags for students on Free School Meals to collect from the main office until Friday 27th March 2020. Lunch bags will be available between 11:30 and 12pm. After this date, we are hoping to have voucher system in place until the Government put their voucher system in place.

Finally, if you are a key worker as defined by the governments new guidelines (the link to guidelines available on our website and Twitter page) and you have NOT already spoken to someone at the school about requiring a place for your child during the closures please be in touch as soon as possible so we can accommodate your child should you need this provision in the coming days and weeks.

As always, we will stay in regular contact with home and keep you informed of all the latest information. We are proud to be part of this community and of the strength and resilience that has been displayed over the past few weeks. Thank you.

Wishing you and your loved ones good health over the coming months, please do all you can to keep safe.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs J Mitchell

CEO/Principal
