GCSE Results Day 2021!
The Boulevard Academy are exceptionally proud of the Year 11s’ achievements this year. Mrs Janice Mitchell, Principal/CEO, believes the “adversity faced by this year group is greater than any in our lifetimes. Their experiences throughout the pandemic have resulted in our students becoming more resilient and well-rounded young people, who are therefore more prepared for working life. I know they will be successful in the future due to the skills they have developed this year.”
Endurance Agbonlahor and Surinder Singh were first through the door this morning to collect their fantastic results. Surinder was “incredibly happy, these are great results. A 9 in Maths!” There were happy tears from Chidimma Okonkwo who received 9s in seven subjects! She is going on to study Chemistry, Maths and Spanish at St Mary’s in September. “I’m nervous now. My results were so good I’m nervous about keeping them up next year!” Fabiha Begum Miha , who achieved 9s in English Literature, Maths and all three Sciences, said, “I wasn’t expecting that! I’m studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths next year. I don’t know exactly what I would like to do but I’m looking at medicine. I will be celebrating by going to Nando’s with my friends this afternoon!”
Throughout this challenging period, staff at the Academy have worked extremely hard with students to help them reach their potential and secure the results they need to take their next steps. They would like to offer all students a massive congratulations and wish them all the best for the future.
