Congratulations Year 11s on your GCSE Results!

Mrs Mitchell, The Principal, expressed her well wishes to year 11, ‘I would like to congratulate and thank all of our year 11 students for their hard work and dedication throughout these unprecedented times’.

Throughout lockdown, students have continued to attend online lessons with some key worker students also attending the academy to continue their learning. Maimuna (who is going to Wyke College in September to study A-Levels) exclaimed through happy tears, ‘The hard work that was put in at the beginning of the year has paid off!’

Seth (also attending Wyke College in September) stated, ‘I’m going to go home and tell my Mum and Dad straightaway. They’re going to be so excited! This year has been something we never expected. It has been stressful for students not just in terms of work and I think the teachers have been amazing at supporting us and helping us, even over summer.’

The Principal added, ‘I would like to thank staff at The Boulevard Academy as they have worked tirelessly during these unusual times- they have displayed the utmost professionalism when producing centre assessed grades. As an academy we have undertaken internal rigorous statistical analysis alongside National FFT statistical analysis to ensure we provide our students with the fairest possible grade.

Finally, I would like to thank parents for their support and encouragement in such challenging circumstances. I wish all of our school leavers well in their future endeavours’.
