Transition Activities

Normally, we would get to know you at school during Transition Days, but this year is very different as you know. However, we don’t want to wait till September to get to know you! We’d like to introduce ourselves and we would be delighted if you fill in and decorate one of our bunting flags so we can get to know you too!

Please return your completed flags to marketing@theboulevardacademy.com.

Click on our flags to enlarge. Blank flags can be found here.

Each week, we will be setting a new Transition Challenge from a different subject teacher! Get involved and send your photos and videos to marketing@theboulevardacademy.com so we can see how you’re getting on! Have fun and we’ll see you soon. Welcome to #TeamBoulevard!

Week 7: 22nd June – 26th June

Let’s tackle an English challenge, this week set by Miss Cooper! Your task is to produce a time capsule to be opened at a point in the future. It is a personal capsule and will contain information about you as you are now- lots of facts plus your thoughts, hopes, and dreams. The capsule will also be a record of what life is like for you now and what is happening at home, at school, in the neighbourhood and in the world at large.

Your time capsule is an envelope so you can’t put any large objects inside but photographs, drawings and writing will fit.

Open the link here for the full details and example warning letter for anyone that dares open your capsule too soon!

Keep your time capsule in a safe place and bring them into school when you join us as a full Year 7! They will be kept in a secure location until a date in the future….
